General Accountabilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain security and safety.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and security systems to prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and client policies.
- Provide armed protection and maintain firearm readiness in accordance with state laws and company procedures.
- Complete detailed incident, activity, and shift reports.
- Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing NPS Protective Service, LLC.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Armed Security Guard License issued by the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional training or military/law enforcement background preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting as required by Tennessee law.
- Strong communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods and work in various environmental conditions.
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
