Details Home Health setting serving kupuna (elderly patients) in their homes in Honolulu Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No on-call responsibilities required 25 productivity units expected per week Occasional floating to cover Kauai, Maui, and/or Big Island with float expenses paid 1:1 patient ratio HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) documentation experience preferred Requirements Active HI RN license required in-hand at time of consideration Current BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 1 year of Home Health nursing experience required At least 3 months of OASIS documentation experience required Experience with adult home health care including admission assessments, case management, recertification, resumption of care, and discharge planning required Skilled in wound care, ostomy/ileostomy management, G-tube and NG tube care, catheter insertion/management, and drain management Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and management of peripheral IVs, central lines, and ports Experience administering blood/blood products required Proficient in pain management, medication assessment, and monitoring chemotherapy side effects Skilled in obtaining vital signs, infection control precautions, and clinical assessment documentation Psychiatric home health and tracheostomy care experience preferred Additional Information Provide comprehensive in-home nursing care to elderly patients across various clinical needs including wound care, GI, GU, respiratory, and oncology-related conditions Coordinate services and maintain thorough clinical documentation for each patient visit Scrubs (any color) and closed-toed shoes required for this role First-time travelers may be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-769652.
