Construction Project Manager - Data Centers

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of hyperscale data center projects on behalf of an established Owner-Operator in Louisiana. This role is responsible for full lifecycle project execution — from pre-construction through commissioning and handover — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to strict technical and operational standards. You will act as the owner’s on-site representative, managing general contractors, design teams, and key stakeholders across complex mission critical builds. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end construction delivery of data center projects from pre-construction through turnover Manage general contractors, design consultants, and major trade partners on behalf of the owner Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk management across all project phases Drive alignment between design intent, construction execution, and operational requirements Lead and coordinate MEP-heavy construction activities (electrical, mechanical, controls, and infrastructure systems) Manage project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities Oversee procurement coordination, long-lead equipment tracking, and delivery sequencing Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, commissioning requirements, and project specifications Support commissioning (CX) readiness and integrated systems testing (IST) coordination Lead regular site meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder reporting Manage and mitigate project risks, change orders, and commercial impacts Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and owner standards at all times Project Scope Exposure Electrical infrastructure (MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear) Mechanical systems (chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC, cooling infrastructure) Controls integration (BMS / EPMS / SCADA coordination) Civil and structural works supporting mission critical facilities Qualifications 7–12+ years of experience in construction project management Strong background in data center, mission critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects Prior experience working for an Owner-Operator, Developer, or General Contractor Proven track record delivering complex MEP-heavy projectsStrong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and turnover processes Experience managing multi-million to billion-dollar capital projects Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Preferred Experience in greenfield ground-up builds Familiarity with Cx processes, BIM coordination, and project controls tools Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree #J-18808-Ljbffr Thor
