Job Title

Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room | Spine & Total Joint

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 4:45 PM | Monday–Friday | 13-Week Assignment | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a high-volume Spine and Total Joint OR environment, supporting 8–11 rooms daily
• Perform surgical scrub duties for complex spinal fusion procedures including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR
• Assist with Total Joint Replacement and Hip Preservation procedures
• Operate and maintain specialized spine and joint surgical equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time (call hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM; no overnight call required)
• Document and navigate patient information using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current hospital-based CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado) and NBSTSA certification required
• Demonstrated experience with large spinal fusions including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Spine scrub experience in a dedicated spine OR setting
• Joint scrub experience including total joint replacement procedures
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
