Kathy Castor for Congress (FL-14) is seeking a full-time Field Director. This senior-level position will lead the campaign's field strategy and execution, working on one of 2026's most competitive Frontline Congressional races. The Field Director will report to the Campaign Manager, and will work closely with staff, interns, and volunteers. This position is full-time, based in Tampa, Florida and will require some travel.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience working for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or firm in an organizing capacity
• Previous staff management experience preferred
• Strong data, targeting, and voter file experience
• Proficiency in VAN and Google Suite
• Drive to hit and exceed ambitious metric goals, and ability to take feedback from managers
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptionally well organized, with attention to detail and process
• Valid driver's license, reliable access to a personal vehicle, internet, and a cellphone
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work long, irregular hours - including evenings and weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all organizing activities for the candidate, staff, and volunteers, including but not limited to hiring, training, supervising, creating, and meeting metric goals and accountability measures for the campaign
• Work with partners to coordinate field efforts
• Oversee the planning of all field strategy including direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment, events, relational organizing, and community organizing
• Provide strategic advice and guidance to ensure effectiveness and quality control of district-wide programs
• Represent the Candidate and campaign in external community events as required and maintains relationships with community organizations, elected officials, and labor groups
• Other duties as assigned by the Campaign Manager and Candidate

The salary range for this position is $7,000 $8,000/month, commensurate with experience. Staff will receive employer sponsored health insurance.
