Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT (T) certification for a hospital radiation oncology role using advanced accelerator technology.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiation Therapist role primarily working on linear accelerators
- TrueBeam Linear Accelerator experience preferred
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends or holidays required
- May float primarily within the University campus, with potential floating to Memorial, Fitchburg, and Marlborough locations
- Uses ARIA for treatment planning and imaging
- Equipment includes TrueBeam, Varian 21 ex/ix, Varian Trilogy, and Vision RT systems
- Performs treatments including IMRT, SRS, CT simulation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and total body irradiation
Requirements
- Massachusetts state license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ARRT (T) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Experience with TrueBeam Linear Accelerator preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety, beam modifying/positioning, and pretreatment procedures
- Skilled in simulation of treatment sites and billing for treatment types and devices
Additional Information
- Responsible for administering radiation treatments and supporting simulation and imaging procedures
- Scrubs or business casual attire with lab coat required
- Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at the same bill rate
- Open to first-time travelers with required experience
