DataStage Developer

Datastage DeveloperImmediate need for a talented DataStage Developer. This is a 11+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Raleigh, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Morristown, NJ (Onsite).Pay Range: $40 - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs according to specifications.Work with Business teams to understand the requirement, design, develop and test DataStage jobs and deploy into productionProvide support for production DataStage jobs as needed.Develop new DataStage jobs to load data into the data warehouse.Test DataStage jobs for accuracy and performance.Deploy DataStage jobs to production environments.Maintain documentation for all developed jobs.Key Requirements and Technology ExperienceBachelor's degree in information system, Computer Science, or a related field.4 + years of experience in DataStage development.Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL.Strong SQL skills and other relevant coding languages.Experience with Hadoop is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Expert in DataStage solution conception, design, and deployment.Outstanding analytical & problem-solving abilities.The capacity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
