Grass Clippings, located in Tempe, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server, Busser, Host, Bartender, Barback! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Our bi-weekly farmers market is a neighborhood go-to. And we are a prime destination for corporate events. Key Responsibilities:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.
• Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins.
• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Assists & supports in inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Welcomes each guest with a friendly greeting and escorts to their assigned table
• Seats guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following/enforcing check issue procedures
• Retains knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures
