Facilities Services Lead Custodial Building Services (25492)

Shift Hours:1:00PM-9:30PM

FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt

POSITION OBJECTIVE :

Acts as a lead worker for other employees including training daily work assignment and review and input into performance reviews. Coordinates equipment and supply purchase and distribution. Incumbents assist supervisors in the performance of work duties and with special projects and assignments. Incumbents also perform the work of Facilities Services Specialists.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)

1. Prioritizing and assigning work; project coordination principles and practices.
2. Troubleshooting systems related to area of assignment.
3. Maintaining and procuring inventory and supplies.
4. Performing Multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Coordinating projects; preparing a variety of business documents and forms.
6. Facilitating group discussions; analyzing situations to define issues and draw valid conclusions.
7. Gathering collating and/or classifying data; solving problems.
8. Interpreting and applying applicable laws codes and standards.
9. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : (positions in this class typically require):

High School Diploma or G.E.D. specialized training and experience related to area of assignment and three years of relevant maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS : (positions in this class typically require):

Licensing Requirements:

Valid Arizona Drivers License.

Some positions may require:

Pesticide Applicators License;

Freon Certification.

CFC

CDL Class A

ASE Certifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Positions in this class typically require: climbing balancing stooping kneeling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting finger dexterity grasping feeling talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions.

Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts electrical currents vibrations fumes odors dusts gases chemicals oils extreme temperatures inadequate lighting and intense noises.
