Job Title

RN - Med/Surg/Tele - Resource Pool

Location

Des Moines, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg and Telemetry setting as part of a resource pool
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Flex across units as needed to meet staffing demands within the resource pool

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a float pool or resource pool environment
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
