As a member of the Integration, Test, and Delivery Quality team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we are delivering truly world class products.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all test activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and standards. You will review and approve test procedures, evaluate anomalous conditions, and interpret technical requirements to ensure that our spacecraft components meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement projects, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our test processes.As a Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of testing and integration activities, including vibration, stress, acoustic, functional, and thermal vacuum testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all test activities are properly planned, executed, and documented. Your expertise in quality engineering principles, practices, and standards will be vital in ensuring that our spacecraft components meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will also be responsible for interacting with the customer as needed, resolving anomalies, and becoming an expert on requirements and specifications.Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or Higher in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined educationKnowledge of manufacturing processes and documentationRoot Cause Analysis experienceKnowledge of quality and test processesExperience with anomaly processing in a test and manufacturing environmentAbility to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, as well as interpret drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and standardsDemonstrated experience with: SAP and Automation FrameworkProficient use of Microsoft Office applications and other computer resources to access specifications and engineering designsAbility to work flexible hours, including second shift, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as neededUS Citizenship requiredDesired SkillsSecret or Top Secret security clearancePR/MRB CertificationQuality Planning Certification or equivalentGreen Belt CertifiedQuality Engineer (CQE) certificationExperience with data analytics and trendingPrevious industry-related certifications, including:Hardware TorquingConnector Mate/DemateCable Harness product qualityPolymericsSolderEnvironmental test supportPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
