Join a hospital team in Alexandria, LA as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working with advanced imaging and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional cases including cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, and device procedures. Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians and cath lab personnel to capture procedural images and hemodynamic data. Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or acceptable equivalent required. Five years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology or Cath/EP Lab experience required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required via AHA. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required via AHA. Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE required. One of the following certifications required (individuals whose ARRT certification lapsed prior to June 1, 2023, may qualify under LSRTBE exemption criteria): RCIS (CCI); RCES (CCI); RCS (CCI); Radiography (R) by ARRT; Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) by ARRT; Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) by ARRT; Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT; Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS; OB/GYN RDMS by ARDMS; Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS; Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS. State licensure preferred based on modality. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certification such as ARRT or RCIS preferred when applicable. You will support departmental inventory, charge capture, and daily reconciliation tasks. The role includes acting as radiation safety representative and participating in process improvement and unit-based initiatives to support clinical excellence.
