Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED (Emergency Department)

• Provide high-quality care to emergency department patients
• Manage trauma and cardiac cases efficiently
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Start and maintain IVs
• Participate in moderate sedation under ED provider supervision
• Be adaptable and willing to float as needed

Requirements of the RN - ED (Emergency Department)

• Valid NY state license
• 3+ years of experience in emergency department specialty
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN, and NIH certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Ability to work under high patient ratios during surge periods
