Working under close supervision, you will help maintain contract files, assist with routine documentation, and learn the fundamentals of contract administration and commercial management. Your attention to detail, willingness to learn, and commitment to following established procedures will help you develop a strong foundation for a career in commercial management while supporting our culture of excellence and client service.What your day-to-day will look like:Assisting in maintaining contract files, records, and documentation according to established filing proceduresHelping prepare routine contract documents such as purchase orders, subcontracts, and standard amendments under direct supervisionSupporting the organization and distribution of contract correspondence, notices, and submittals to project stakeholdersLearning to review contract documents for completeness and accuracy with guidance from senior team membersAssisting in tracking contract milestones, key dates, and renewal deadlines using standard templates and checklistsHelping log and track change orders, variations, and scope modifications in tracking systemsSupporting the collection and organization of payment applications, invoices, and supporting documentationAssisting in data entry for commercial tracking systems and maintaining organized cost recordsHelping compile documentation and information related to project issues or potential claims under supervisionProviding administrative support for contract meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking notesSupporting the preparation of routine contract status reports using standard templatesAssisting in tracking contract compliance requirements, insurance certificates, and required documentationHelping maintain contact lists and communication logs for contractors, consultants, and clientsLearning basic principles of contract administration, commercial processes, and construction terminology through on-the-job trainingChampioning JLL's values and culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and belongingRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)0-1 year prior professional experienceBasic understanding of construction or real estate industry is helpful but not requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate recordsGood written and verbal communication skills for routine business correspondenceBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to follow established procedures and take direction from supervisorsWillingness to learn and develop knowledge of contract administration and commercial managementAbility to manage straightforward tasks with supervision and meet deadlinesProfessional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with team membersPreferred qualifications:Internship or co-op experience in construction, real estate, contract administration, or related fieldCoursework in construction management, contract law, project management, or business administrationBasic familiarity with construction terminology or contract documents through academic studyExposure to document management systems or project management softwareInterest in pursuing professional development in contract management or quantity surveyingExperience with administrative support, document organization, or record-keeping in any professional settingBasic understanding of business documents and standard contracting processesThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
