This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.What You’ll Get To Do:Join the Production Operations Manufacturing Engineering team for Sentinel and take part in engineering solutions to deploy and deliver a state-of-the-art weapon system to our customer. The candidate will provide advanced technological ideas and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to resolve technical questions and ensure compliance and execution to the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Statement of Work (SOW) requirements. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Manufacturing Engineer: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 Years with BS; 0 Years with Masters; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Principal Manufacturing Engineer: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 Years with BS; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeRequired for Both Levels:Must have ability to obtain and maintain Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance prior to start, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needExperience with Design Reviews, Process Control Documentation, Work Instructions, and Bills of MaterialsExperience with Mechanical/Electrical DrawingsExperience with Siemens NX/CPLM or similar tools and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project)These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Bachelor’s and/or Master’s STEM DegreePrevious experience on EMD projects Previous experience on high-rate production military programExperience with Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM)An understanding of MRA’s and establishing Manufacturing Readiness Levels per DoD customer requirementsPrior experience developing and designing tooling for field work and installationsDemonstrated experience working in a Model Based Manufacturing digital environmentDemonstrated Project Management experienceExperience in resolving manufacturing process issues & training operators on a new processPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
