You’ll be the first friendly face customers see when they walk in, the warm voice that makes them feel like part of the family, and the trusted guide who helps them find exactly what they didn’t know they needed. From recommending the perfect coffee blend to sharing our newest merch, your goal is to make every visit memorable.But this role is so much more than the front counter. We’re looking for someone who can:Engage with customers naturally and confidently — greet them immediately, make conversation, and offer suggestions without it feeling scripted or forced.Keep our retail space beautiful and inviting — stock shelves, refresh displays, tidy up, and keep things running smoothly all day.Lead and coordinate events — from monthly public gatherings to special promotions, you’ll handle the details, timelines, and follow-up that make these events shine.Collaborate on retail product ideas — help us dream up and launch new apparel, impulse buys, and seasonal favorites.Manage administrative details — track inventory, support event logistics, and tackle special projects with accuracy and follow-through.We need someone who blends sales-savvy customer service skills with meticulous organizational abilities. In other words — the kind of person who can welcome a customer with a smile, close a sale, then seamlessly shift to planning a store event or updating inventory spreadsheets.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement:Welcome and greet all customers with a friendly attitude, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.Build meaningful relationships with new and repeat customers to foster loyalty and brand advocacy.Check in guests as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate internal contact.Provide exceptional customer service that customers will remember and recommend to others.Sales and Promotions:Actively engage in suggestive selling and upselling to maximize sales opportunities.Implement marketing and promotional ideas to draw in customers and increase sales.Set and achieve ambitious sales goals, including a 40% increase in retail sales by 2025. Additional growth plans will be prepared on an annual basis.Run sales reports to analyze progress and develop strategies for growth.Earn commission based on sales growth to reward your success.Retail Operations:Brew fresh coffee throughout the day to enhance the in-store experience.Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing to drive product visibility and sales.Initiate and manage the apparel planning process, including:Submitting artwork requests to the design teamOverseeing the project through all steps, from the initial request to the arrival of the finished product.Merchandising new apparel and ensuring it is ready to sell.Set up all new items in the Square POS system, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management.Maintain up-to-date pricing and ensure products are accurately reflected in the POS system.Responsilbe for decorating the space to meet seaonal needs.Maintain monthly inventory levels.Cleanliness and Maintenance:Ensure the lobby store remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.Maintain cleanliness of brewing equipment, displays, and all areas of the store.Follow health and safety standards to create a welcoming and safe environment for customers.Community Engagement and Events:Plan and coordinate events to attract the local community.Organize tastings and demos of DCR, B22, and ABC products to increase brand awareness.Take photos and videos of in-store activities and share them with the social media manager for increased engagement.You might be our unicorn if you:Have deep retail experience (and love it!).Are equally comfortable talking to strangers and managing a project checklist.Notice the little details — whether it’s a display that needs refreshing or a deadline on the horizon.Get satisfaction from a well-run event, a beautiful store, and happy customers.Can juggle sales, stocking, admin tasks, and event coordination without dropping the ball.If this sounds like you, we can't wait to see your application!BenefitsMedical, Dental, and vision benefits for employees and their families.
