Shipper

This position utilizes forklifts and overhead cranes for pulling product from warehouse then and loading vans and flatbed trailers for shipment. It is to provide a concise, accurate, physically secure and neatly loaded product to external customers.

What you need to do:

• Maintain required quality and quantity of parts being processed or handled
• Ability to adapt to quickly changing schedules and priorities while still making deadlines
• Job sometimes requires overtime and scheduled weekends to meet business needs; job may require short notice working past end of shift to complete in process shipping orders
• Ability to use a variety of tools to package or crate product (not limited to air and hand banders, nail gun, power saws)
• Requires pulling product from various locations (inside and outside)
• Ability to recognize a wide variety of part numbers per location
• Responsible for reporting incorrect part weights or inventory balances
• Responsible for spotting drivers backing in trailers and other material handlers when handling large loads
• Responsible for assisting all product being loaded in department as needed
• Requires a high level of safety awareness of surroundings and when driving around people, moving large items, and stacking items
• Ability to use a RF scan gun, computer and log sheet to report movement of inventory, complete quality checklist(s) and loading documents
• Other duties as assigned
  Minimum Required Qualifications: Education: High school degree, GED, or equivalent work experience
  Required Experience: Candidate must possess the following: Prior factory / overhead crane-loading experience preferred but not required.
