TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37412!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ICU experience (2 years) Teamwork skills New graduate RN support Description: The unit has a total of 9 beds. Patient ratios are 2:1 and 3:1. All staff are registered nurses. The equipment includes ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors. Documentation is done using a specific system. Self-scheduling is allowed with manager oversight, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule. Staff may be required to float to critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or the emergency department. Patient experience requirements include AIDET, BSSR (Bedside shift report), and achieving Press Ganey goals of 75%. The unit is certified as a Chest Pain Center and has Stroke Accreditation. Advanced skills needed include ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management. Procedures performed on the unit include intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions. Dress code mandates navy blue scrubs. All policies and guidelines specific to the unit will be adhered to. Prospective candidates should be aware of any awards or recognition received by the department.
