Financial Analyst 2

Overview Manage the financial operations of the Institute for Integrative Genome Biology (IIGB) and its affiliated research centers (Center for Plant Cell Biology and Center for Disease Vector Research). The role involves complex sales and service instrumentation operations (currently five). Salary range: $29.21 - $38.31 per hour (expected pay scale). Salary details are part of the interview process. Responsibilities Develop new rate structures and conduct periodic analytical reviews for 100+ diverse instrumentation rates. Perform high‑level budget/resource analyses and prepare monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports for the IIGB Director and Managing Director, principal investigators, and administration. Utilize complex analytical tools and incorporate funding strategies for short‑ and long‑term forecasts. Prepare agency‑specific, multi‑year budgets. Complete submission and post‑award administration of multidisciplinary contracts, grants, and other collaborative initiatives promoted by the Institute. Develop data‑management tools for comprehensive financial operations management. Qualifications Current UCR work authorization upon acceptance of employment. Sponsorship of employment visas is not available. Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and contract administration (preferred).
