Dining Room Servers

Main Responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Taking orders and delivering food and beverages.
• Helping members and their guests with menu recommendations.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.

Dining Room Server Job Description:

WingHaven Country Club is looking for experienced Dining Room Servers and that have the passion and creativity for this role to service all guests and members. Candidates must be 18 years or older and exemplify being a team player with a positive attitude.

Reports To: Dining Room Manager

Responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guests.
• Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
• Upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Taking member's food and drink order correctly
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Billing orders to the correct member accounts.
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.

Dining Room Server Job Requirements:

• High energy, professional and polite individual
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved uniform at all times
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in an indoor and outdoor setting and lift 25-30 pounds.
• Must be able to operate F&B Point of Sale system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and clean counters/tables
• Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and flexible hours, as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must be on time for work and dependable
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts.
• Must carry at least a high school diploma.
