Job Full Description Express is actively recruiting for a full-time Medical Receptionist for a local company in Cowlitz County. Candidates should have previous experience in a medical and professional setting. The medical receptionist serves patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts. Job Summary: Responsibilities include checking in patients, scheduling appointments, registering patient's demographics, collecting co-pays, prepping patient records for upcoming appointments and other secondary jobs. Candidates must have the ability to multitask and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office. Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred Other Skills: Adaptability to new technology and software Excellent customer service skills, work ethic and attendance Positive attitude and desire to be a team player Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers Greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Schedules appointments Screens patients for MRI safety Greets and checks in patients Receives payments Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
