Ensure staff safety in a secure corrections unit environment.Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)Special Procedures/Unit Details: Unit is a corrections unit for Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections (ODRC) inmates. Locked unit with access controlled by Corrections Officers (CO). CO to inmate ratio: 1:2. Nurse to patient ratio: 1:3 for PCU, 1:4-5 for MS. Patients will also be admitted for oncology workup or a history of cancer with no active treatment plan. Patients could be admitted for (but not limited to) COPD, CHF, tumor lysis, DIC, Sepsis, chemo administration, neutropenic fevers, etc. Special Procedures/Unit Details : This unit is a locked corrections unit that will include both oncology and non-oncology patient population. Special Equipment : Working with Correctios Officers ****Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass.***** #Tier4 Travel Compliance There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start no exceptions.
