Body Prep Operator I Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly About the Role: The Body Prep Operator II plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by preparing and mixing raw materials for the production of tiles. This position ensures that all components are accurately measured, weighed, and inspected to meet quality standards before moving forward in production. The operator will work closely with machinery and manual tools to perform preparation. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain the integrity of the tile structure and ensure a smooth production flow. Ultimately, the role contributes significantly to the overall quality and efficiency of the manufacturing line in the Lebanon facility. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or tile preparation role. Basic knowledge of hand and machinery used in body preparation. Ability to read work instructions. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with tile preparation machinery. Familiarity with loader trucks and forklift equipment. Proficiency in using measurement and weighing tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain body preparation equipment and tools to prepare raw materials for tile assembly. Inspect raw components for defects, misalignments, and report any issues to the quality control team. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets while adhering to safety standards. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities. Skills: The required skills enable the operator to efficiently prepare raw materials by accurately using hand and machinery equipment, ensuring proper mixture ratio and weight standards. Attention to detail is crucial for identifying defects and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the preparation process.
