Xylem is looking for a Field Service Technician to report to one of our locations in Riverview, Bartow, Lakeland, Plant City, or Mulberry, FL and service our water treatment equipment. What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, and maintenance of our wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working in an industrial environment is especially encouraged. These positions operate on swing shifts, either 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM, either every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday, or every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. Position Requirements for Field Service Technicians HS diploma or equivalent One year of work experience preferred 0-2 years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices Ability to work in a high customer facing position Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record The estimated salary for this position is $25.50/hr.Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
