Buyers Safety- Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative Summary/Objective The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by providing information about Buyers Safety products and services, taking orders, and processing returns. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Answer customer calls for price quotes, purchase orders, returns, and web cancellations. Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls. Assist walk-in customers. Achieve and maintain rapport with customers to give them the best possible service. Follow up with customers to ensure overall customer satisfaction. Work closely with the Operations department regarding deliveries. Collaborate with outside sales rep to determine necessary strategic sales approaches. Partner with Accounting to ensure new accounts are setup in a timely manner. Accurate file and document maintenance. Maintain knowledge on product lines and industry standards. Prepare appropriate reports in a timely manner. Competencies Communication Proficiency Dependable/Reliable Detail Oriented Teamwork Technical Capacity Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Customer Service Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multi-focus Communication Skills Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax/scan/copier and filing cabinets. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel This position does not require travel.
