Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Registered Nurse in Somerville, Massachusetts! This role is on site / in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Three-month contract, opportunity for extension or full time offer

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Office is open 8am to 6pm. Can work 6 hours / 8 hours/ 10 hour shifts

Pay: $45.50 to $47.30 an hour

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

· provides medical care, monitors vital signs, and administers weight-based medications for infants, children, and adolescents

· Updating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and relaying critical lab results to physicians or nurse practitioners

· Maintain accurate records of a child’s symptoms, treatments, and care

· Administer prescribed medication

· Assist with pain management and managing a patient’s symptoms

· Consult with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare providers to form treatment plans specific to the child’s needs

· Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments of children, including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and symptoms

· Draw blood and administer childhood vaccinations

· Provide supportive care for both the patient and their family members

· Other duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

· Associates degree

· Active and good standing RN license in MA

· Prior pediatric experience preferred

· EPIC experience preferred

Pay Details: $45.50 to $47.30 per hour
