Respiratory Therapy Technician - Day Shift

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Therapy and upon the request of the physician, the Respiratory Therapy Technician sets up and operates various types of respiratory equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory equipment for patient use.
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions as directed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses and provide appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Document patient care activities and communicate findings to the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Technician program.
• Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current RRT license in the state of Montana.
• Experience with Sentry Suite PFT and Stress Tests is required.
• Knowledge relative to the age of patients serviced.

Schedule

This position operates on a day shift schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
