Job Description As a Security Officer Security Support in Newport, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to evolving situations with integrity, and support a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, and an agile approach. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
