MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist to become part of a dedicated team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas.

Salary: $77,700 - $104,730 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Client Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and needs through interviews, observations, and standardized assessment techniques.
• Work Schedule: Work five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift each month.
• Treatment Plan Development: Create individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing fine motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Therapeutic Techniques: Implement therapeutic strategies, including exercises, adaptive devices, and environmental modifications, to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
• Licensure: Must have a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas or be eligible for licensure.
• CPR Certification: Current certification is mandatory.
• Driver's License: A valid Texas Driver's License is required only for individuals designated as HMC Designated Drivers.
• Designated Driver Status: Required.
• OSHA Risk Category: 2 - Moderate Risk.
