We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electro-mechanical components and systems, ensuring precision and quality at every step. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality electronic and mechanical products, supporting our commitment to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of all tasks performed.

• Demonstrate good soldering skills for both Non-RoHS and RoHS components and assemblies.

• Follow work instructions proficiently in an FDA-compliant manufacturing environment.

• Use standard hand tools and computer access effectively.

• Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Audit and verify assembly kits in both Just-in-Time (JIT) and batch production environments.

• Exhibit great organizational skills.

• Log failure information related to electro-mechanical assemblies.

• Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

• Enter production data and documentation into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, Arena.

• Utilize common software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.

• Be flexible and willing to learn how to manufacture multiple product lines/customer builds.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in hand tool usage, electronic assembly, and mechanical assembly.

• Strong soldering skills for RoHS and non-RoHS components.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform PCB rework.

• Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel.

• Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

• Competency in using a micrometer for precise measurements.

• Knowledge in wiring, mechanical, and electronics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High School diploma required.

• Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining compliance with Good Documentation Practice.

• Experience working within ISO-regulated environments is preferred but not required.

• Experience in a medical device company is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redwood City, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
