Parts Person

Parts Person Enterprise, KS

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 1st Shift Parts Person at our Parts Distribution Center in Enterprise, KS to provide support to the parts department as well as to receive, store, assemble, distribute, and route parts and products.

This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some overtime may be required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compare identifying information and counts.
• Weigh and measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets and shelves.
• Convey orders to packing station or shipping station.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Transfer materials and items from receiving and parts department to storage and other designated areas.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.

• High level of accuracy and attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work within a team environment
• Basic computer skills, and some experience with Excel or Word is helpful
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work with interruptions and shifting priorities
