Job Full Description Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Bindery Operator! Position Summary: Our client is leader in the print, marketing, and mailing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Bindery Operator. This role is responsible for setting up and operating mailing/bindery equipment to ensure the accurate and efficient production of printed materials. You'll work as part of a production team to meet customer deadlines, ensure quality standards, and support smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate bindery/mailing equipment according to job specifications and postal regulations Coordinate scheduling for addressing, inserting, and sorting mail pieces Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation Monitor job quality and ensure projects meet customer expectations Assist in troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues Maintain accurate data entry and follow proper safety and operational procedures Qualifications: Previous experience in bindery, mailing, or print production preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic computer tasks Knowledge of postal regulations is a plus Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm Pay: $18-20/hour Why You'll Love Working with Express: 401K Retirement Plan: Secure your future with our employer-sponsored 401K program.
