The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse mix of light-duty and specialty vehicles within a small team environment. Utilizing standard tools and diagnostic equipment, this role ensures the safe and efficient operation of the entire fleet through expert troubleshooting and timely maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and routine repairs on light-duty and specialty vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using standard diagnostic tools
- Troubleshoot problems and execute timely parts replacement
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Remove and Replace Transmissions and/or Engines
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance
- High School Diploma or equivalent with automotive experience or technical certification
- Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting and use of diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
