HVAC Technician

About the Role As a Maintenance Technician with JLL, you will be a key part of ensuring the operational reliability and safety of our client’s facility. This role requires a hands‑on, skilled technician who is proficient in mechanical systems maintenance. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and complete repairs on a wide range of critical equipment. Monitor and maintain critical building systems, including HVAC, chillers, and associated controls, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety policies, including the proper handling of materials and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Collaborate with other technicians and building operators on major repairs, maintenance projects, and equipment installations. Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs, working in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics), and safely working on ladders (up to 28ft) and rooftops. Safely operate electric hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and motor vehicles. Qualifications High‑school diploma, state equivalent, or GED. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in industrial or commercial HVAC and mechanical maintenance. Preferred Qualifications Refrigerant License Certifications in HVAC (e.g., EPA Universal), plumbing, or other relevant trades. Completion of a technical trade school program in a related field (e.g., HVAC, mechanical systems). Experience with building automation systems (BAS) or a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Proficiency in the installation and repair of piping, valves, and filters. Location & Compensation 1329 West US Highway6, Holdrege, Nebraska – On‑site. Work Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 7am to 5pm. Salary: $30–$35 per hour.
