Porter

Avita Property Management is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, curb appeal, and safety of the property. The Porter plays a critical role in ensuring residents and guests experience a clean, well-maintained community at all times. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including leasing office, breezeways, parking lots, amenities, and trash areas Perform daily grounds inspections to ensure property appearance standards are met Pick up trash and debris throughout the property Assist with trash compactor management and bulk item removal Clean and maintain pool areas, fitness centers, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces Support maintenance team with basic tasks as needed Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance concerns to management Ensure vacant units and models are clean and presentable Assist with property walks and inspections Qualifications Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required Ability to follow direction and work independently Work Environment This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors for extended periods of time.
