I've proudly owned my State Farm agency in Thief River Falls for over 16 years. During that time, we've built strong relationships with thousands of customers and established an agency that takes pride in helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most.

Our team consists of seven licensed professionals who bring experience, knowledge, and a genuine commitment to our customers. We work in a beautiful, modern office built in 2019, providing a welcoming and professional environment for both our customers and team.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager with Sally Wolff State Farm Agency, you'll play an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships, providing exceptional service, and identifying opportunities to help customers protect what matters most.

You'll work with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, review coverage, recommend appropriate insurance products, and help our agency continue to grow.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of responsibilities, and is comfortable balancing customer service with proactive sales conversations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Conduct insurance reviews to identify coverage needs and opportunities.

• Recommend and explain Auto, Home, Life, Health, and other insurance products.

• Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, and account needs.

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services.

• Follow up on quotes, customer inquiries, and sales opportunities.

• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and agency goals.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude and strong commitment to customer service.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative.

• Comfortable discussing insurance products and identifying sales opportunities.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Previous experience in insurance, banking, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates initiative, a positive attitude, and a desire to succeed.
  
  
• Minnesota Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required.
  
  
• Candidates not currently licensed must be willing to obtain the required licenses within an established timeframe.

• All required insurance pre-licensing training is paid for by our agency.
  
  

COMPENSATION

$40,000–$55,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications, plus eligible performance-based bonuses and incentives.

A licensing success hiring bonus is available to eligible new team members upon successful completion of required insurance licensing.
