Admissions Representative

Location: Mesa, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Flexible 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour (Temp-to-Hire)
Conversion Pay: $20.00/hour upon permanent hire (typically after 90 days)

Are you a confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people and making a positive impact? We are seeking motivated Prospective Student Engagement Representatives to join our growing team in Mesa, Arizona.

In this role, you'll connect with individuals who have previously expressed interest in furthering their education. Using an automated dialing system, you'll engage prospective students in meaningful conversations, learn about their goals, address questions or concerns, and help guide them toward the next step in the enrollment process.

This position combines customer service, relationship building, and consultative communication skills in a fast-paced outbound call center environment. While not a traditional sales role, successful representatives are comfortable overcoming objections, building rapport quickly, and encouraging prospective students to continue exploring educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Student Outreach & Engagement

• Contact prospective students who have previously inquired about educational programs
• Conduct professional and engaging outbound phone conversations
• Build rapport and establish trust quickly
• Learn about each individual's goals, interests, and educational needs
• Provide information and guidance on available next steps
• Document conversations accurately within company systems
• Schedule follow-ups and connect qualified prospects with the appropriate department

Relationship Building & Communication

• Utilize active listening skills and ask thoughtful discovery questions
• Address concerns and overcome objections professionally
• Follow established scripts and communication guidelines while maintaining a natural conversation flow
• Encourage prospective students to stay engaged in the enrollment process
• Deliver a positive and supportive customer experience during every interaction

Call Center Operations

• Manage a high volume of outbound calls through an automated dialing system
• Meet productivity, attendance, and quality expectations
• Maintain accurate records and notes in CRM systems
• Follow company policies and call center procedures
• Contribute to individual and team performance goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, call center, admissions, recruiting, inside sales, collections, or other customer-facing roles preferred
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with individuals throughout the day in a phone-based environment
• Ability to build rapport and create positive experiences
• Strong listening, problem-solving, and objection-handling skills
• Comfortable working toward performance goals and metrics
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Compensation & Career Growth

• Starting pay of $18.00/hour
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• Increase to $20.00/hour upon permanent hire
