Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Our client, a construction company , is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY .

Pay Rate Range: $130,000–$165,000 per year, depending on experience

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

· Lead and manage large, complex, and high-value construction projects from start to finish

\n

· Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior Project Managers

\n

· Oversee up to three project management team members

\n

· Manage project financials, including budgets, profitability, and change order negotiations

\n

· Identify opportunities to improve project execution through prefabrication and coordinate implementation with Field Operations and Preconstruction teams

\n

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams

\n

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities

\n

· Collaborate with Field Operations, Preconstruction, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

\n

· Develop and implement processes that improve project execution and overall team performance

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

· Extensive construction project management experience, including management of large and complex projects

\n

· Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or managing junior Project Management professionals

\n

· Experience managing project financials and negotiating change orders

\n

· Experience identifying and implementing prefabrication opportunities

\n

· Strong client relationship management and business development experience

\n

· Strong understanding of Field Operations and Preconstruction processes

\n

· Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

\n

· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

\n

· Experience with Plexxis and/or Procore is highly preferred

\n
