We offer a comprehensive range of medical services in a compassionate and patient-focused environment.Position SummaryMedLink Georgia is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) to join our Revenue Cycle team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures to support optimal reimbursement and compliance with federal regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately code all diagnoses and procedures for medical encounters using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.Review clinical documentation to ensure coding reflects the level of service provided.Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to clarify documentation and ensure coding accuracy.Conduct audits and assist with coding compliance reviews.Stay up-to-date with changes in coding guidelines and regulations.Support the billing department in resolving coding-related denials and claim issues.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificateAHIMA Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P) or AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required12 months coding/chart review or related experience.
