Lab Technician

Randstad is recruiting a Senior Laboratory Technician for a premiere industrial surface treatment and plating division of a top aerospace manufacturer in Bohemia, NY. This senior technical asset will manage chemical analysis, testing protocols, and process solution monitoring to support critical metal finishing lines.

salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical testing, titrations, and chemical bath monitoring for anodizing and plating operations.

• Operate laboratory validation equipment, compile experimental data, and verify that processing variables conform to industrial parameters.

• Prepare laboratory reagents, calibrate testing instrumentation, and audit safety protocols.

• Mentor junior lab personnel and log chemical logs for aerospace and client audits.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
