Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location: West Saint Paul, MN (Floater role supporting multiple nearby locations)
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Day shift, scheduled in 8hour increments between 6:45am - 7:00pm (flexible based on staffing needs)

As a floating Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in ensuring patients across multiple locations receive timely, accurate, and professional specimen collection services. What You'll Do
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with accuracy and professionalism, including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy, obtaining patient confirmation postcollection
• Maintain required documentation, records, and confidentiality standards
• Support multiple patient service center and inoffice locations with minimal notice
• Create a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for patients and staff
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and strong customer focus

What We're Looking For
• A current, uptodate resume
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Prior experience in a patient service center environment preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highvolume setting
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and oncall as needed
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (TB Testing, MMR, Varicella, Tdap required; COVID19 and Flu strongly recommended)
