Senior Electrical EngineerLead the development, design, system integration, and maintenance of embedded hardware platforms for Space Orbital Missions, Lunar Missions, Aerospace, and Defense projects.Responsibilities:Lead teams in product definition, materials selection, architecture, and design review activities.Recommend and implement hardware solutions and improved practices.Develop and maintain micro-controller operated digital and analog electronics using established engineering processes.Interface with customers to determine requirements and guide hardware packaging, board layout, and design tradeoff discussions.Lead PC graphical user interface development/testing, test plans, test results, and test stand equipment design.Coordinate releases, upgrades, documentation, quality assurance activities, and technical accuracy of product materials.Essential Skills:5-10+ years of recent embedded hardware development experience.Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.Advanced electrical/software engineering concepts.Advanced design, analysis, and testing of micro-controller operated digital and analog electronics.Advanced PSpice simulations.Proficiency in motor control systems.Experience with ORCAD schematics.Knowledge of FPGA and high-speed signal processing.Understanding of DSP, control systems, and digital filters.Release management and document control.Application lifecycle management.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Leadership and mentoring capability.Project planning and milestone ownership.Electrical design expertise.Experience with schematic capture, preferably ORCAD.Knowledge of microprocessors.Full life cycle development from requirements, design, to testing.Work Environment:Engage in a dynamic work environment focusing on cutting-edge technology for aerospace and defense projects. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
