Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shift, 7 pm to 7 am. Every other weekend is typically required.

Job Description: Join our team as a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse, providing critical care to patients with complex neurological and trauma-related conditions. In this role, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide frontline patient care, assessing, analyzing, and implementing individualized care plans.
• Monitor and manage complex patient conditions and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff for comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in trauma and medical rounds to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Utilize eICU remote monitoring for real-time patient data and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or Trauma nursing.
• Current California RN license required at the time of submission.
• CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (or willingness to obtain).
