This supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials and finished goods. This role provides leadership for warehouse associates, coordinates inbound and outbound activities, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader who promotes accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence while supporting Ruggable's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.Warehouse OperationsSupervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processingEnsure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipmentsMonitor workflow and staffing levels to meet operational demandsCoordinate dock scheduling and material movement throughout the facilityMaintain warehouse organization and cleanliness according to 6S standardsInventory ManagementEnsure inventory accuracy through weekly and monthly cycle counts along with physical inventory auditsInvestigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actionsMonitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or excess inventory concernsSupport material replenishment and Kanban processesMaintain accurate transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)Team LeadershipLead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goalsConduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational prioritiesProvide training for new employees and ongoing development for existing team membersPerform performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as neededFoster a positive work environment focused on accountability and teamworkSafety & CompliancePromote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulationsConduct weekly safety observations and corrective actionsInvestigate incidents and near misses and recommend preventative measuresEnsure proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacksMaintain compliance with company procedures and operational standardsContinuous ImprovementTrack and analyze warehouse performance metrics including: Inventory Accuracy, Order Accuracy, On-Time Shipment Performance, Productivity Rates, Safety MetricsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiencySupport implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiativesCollaborate with Procurement, Production, Transportation, Quality and Customer Service teams to resolve operational issuesRequired: Bilingual (English/Spanish) High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to analyze data and make operational decisions Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office/Excel Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when requiredPreferred: Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipmentCompensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year base salary An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K planAt Ruggable, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
