Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant position is available in an outpatient setting located in Knox, Indiana. The role involves assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing therapeutic interventions, training patients in mobility and the use of assistive devices, and supporting patient care activities. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional prepared to start as soon as possible with a focus on outpatient therapy procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Knox, Indiana
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Accredited Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program required
• Completed CPR certification required
• Active and applicable license for the state of Indiana required
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience required
• No specific experience requirement beyond 1 year for the role
• Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening, balance exercises, and gait training, and documenting patient progress.
• Experience with modalities such as whirlpools, ultrasound, and therapeutic pools is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates the ability to train patients in mobility using assistive devices and ensures safety during treatments.
• Maintains all safety, infection control, and clinic policies.
• Performs patient education and participates in team conferences and quality improvement projects.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines including proper hand-washing techniques and equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
