Escrow Analyst

Summary: Monitors daily queue of open requests related to customer inquiries, meeting required service levels, compliance with state and Federal laws, and providing quality customer service. Research borrower disputes and determine root-cause, providing timely, detailed, and accurate responses. Partner closely with internal departments to provide subject matter expertise in areas related to Escrow Analysis, Tax Disbursements, and Homeowners Insurance.

Duties:

• Research loan level activity and work closely with internal departments to provide accurate information.
• Maintain procedure manuals, identify internal and external business process improvements, communication to system support operations to facilitate daily operations and system projects.
• Coordinate corporate advances and write-offs to ensure quality service.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain positive business relationships.
• Monitor daily operations of vendors to ensure established service levels and contract terms are met.
• Prepare process flowcharts, analyze data, audit exceptions, and prepare reports.
• Review vendor fees and advances for payment and/or recovery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specs:

• Education level: Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred, or equivalent corporate work experience
• Previous Mortgage Servicing, Escrow and/or MSP experience, preferred
• Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to become a "business partner" with external vendors, customers, and other internal departments.
• Ability to think critically and analytically to complete in-depth research
