Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:


Seeking a highly skilled Peds Echo Tech to perform pediatric echocardiograms within a busy cardiology unit. The role involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pediatric echocardiograms utilizing Philips Epiq machines according to established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and prepare necessary equipment and supplies.
• Accurately document procedures and findings in the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with cardiology staff to interpret imaging results and provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, including dress code and safety guidelines.
• Support unit operations during weekend shifts and occasional on-call duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Registered with Peds Echo Certification from CCI or ARDMS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing pediatric and congenital pediatric echo procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system and hospital policies.
