About the Position

Job Title: EEG Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: EEG Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years in EEG License: R.EEGT Certifications: Current certifications required Must-Have: - Inpatient and outpatient EEG experience - ICU and ER experience Description: The EEG Tech will perform electroencephalography on patients in various settings. Experience with adult ICU, inpatient, and outpatient EEG procedures is required. Responsibilities include assisting with EMG, nerve conduction studies, and other neurological tests. The role involves electrode placement, seizure studies, and sleep EEG monitoring. The EEG Tech must demonstrate proficiency in long-term video monitoring and portable recordings. Candidates must have experience with auditory evoked potentials and somatosensory evoked potentials. The position requires flexibility for on-call duties and working weekends as needed. Strong charting system experience is preferred, specifically with Epic. This role supports patients of all age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
