US Senior Marketing and Events Specialist

JOB TITLE: US Senior Marketing and Events Specialist LOCATION: Sterling Heights, MI, USA WORKING HOURS: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Office based About Pineapple Pineapple is a global leader in designing innovative furniture solutions for challenging environments. About The Role We are looking for a hands‑on, self‑sufficient marketing professional to lead our U.S. marketing efforts, with strategic support from our UK team. This role requires someone who can take ownership of initiatives while collaborating closely with international stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite to produce high‑quality marketing assets, along with proven expertise in planning and executing trade shows and events . A proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently are essential. Responsibilities Manage the exhibition calendar, including event bookings and coordination of logistics such as furniture and marketing materials. Attendance at selected events will be required. Support trade shows and exhibitions by designing visuals, organizing marketing collateral, and planning stand layout, including furniture selection. Attendance at selected events will be required. Take full ownership of smaller sales events, managing all aspects from concept through to execution. This includes budgeting, logistics, marketing materials, and liaison with event organizers, with final sign‑off from HQ. Lead the delivery of U.S. pop‑up shop campaigns from concept to execution, including localized promotion, budgeting, logistics, and coordination with venue managers. Identify and secure speaking opportunities at key events, including panel discussions and workshops. Create high‑quality visual assets for social media and the website using Adobe Creative Suite. Maintain and update the U.S. WordPress website, adding new products and content as needed. Plan and produce engaging written content for both print and digital channels. Develop case studies and coordinate photography for completed projects. Manage and localise social media content for the U.S. market. Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns. Support the Sales Team with bespoke presentations for client meetings, bids, and CEU presentations. Build and manage relationships with third‑party vendors and external partners to support seamless execution in the U.S. market. Take ownership of the CET (Configura) platform, ensuring it is up to date, optimised, and effectively managed. Research and evaluate advertising opportunities across publications and events. Manage sourcing and stock control of marketing materials, including printed literature and branded merchandise. Oversee the day‑to‑day management of showrooms in MI and LA, ensuring strong presentation, accurate inventory, and product availability. Maintain U.S. product information, updates and templates within internal systems (e.g., GoldVision, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics). Provide ad‑hoc support to the Sales Team as required. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the business. Requirements A degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field would be advantageous. Proven marketing experience, ideally in a Senior Marketing position. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop (essential). Ability to take ownership and work independently while collaborating closely with the UK Head Office team on marketing campaigns. Able to develop and implement marketing plans in alignment with global priorities. Highly responsive, reliable and accountable, with confidence to make decisions and drive projects forward. Strong initiative – proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work without micromanagement. Good understanding of the US market and customer landscape, with the ability to stay up to date on market trends, competitors and opportunities. WordPress experience is preferred but not essential. Recognised experience executing and optimising SEO campaigns. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines simultaneously. Analytical and results‑oriented, with the ability to measure campaign performance and drive continuous improvement. Comfortable working under pressure while meeting deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong stakeholder coordination between international teams.
