Senior Medical Science Liaison Cardiovascular Metabolic - FL

Amgen Inc

Senior Medical Science Liaison role focusing on cardiovascular-metabolic disease in Florida. The position involves engaging with healthcare leaders and payers to communicate clinical evidence, support formulary committees, and advance the scientific platform aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Engage with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to advance scientific platform
Educate payers, providers, and formulary committees on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data
Develop and implement scientific engagement plans and local opinion leader strategies
Support Amgen-sponsored research and investigator-sponsored studies
Lead congress activities and provide field observations and insights to internal collaborators

Requirements

Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience
PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO preferred
Two years industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs at biotech or pharmaceutical company
Two years in Medical Science Liaison role
Two or more years clinical practice, research, or medically related field experience
Cardiometabolic expertise preferred
